Only five riders signed up for the race. RESULTS Heat 1. - 1) J Orosz, 2) A Hesmer, 3) R Dixon, 4) J Bennett, 5) T Ford. Orosz led from start to finish. Riders well spread out with Ford falling and remounting to finish. Heat 2. - 1) A Hesmer, 2) J Orosz, 3) R Dixon, 4) T Ford, 5) J Bennett. Races were started by a green light and Hesmer got a flyer (actually left early) and won easily. Orosz and Dixon had a decent battle for second place while at the back it was Bennett's turn to fall and get back on to finish. FINAL - 1) J Orosz, 2) R Dixon, 3) T Ford, A Hesmer fell - J Bennertt fell Hesmer again had a flyer but this time the race was stopped and he was sent to the penalty line for the restart. Bennett ran out of room trying to get around Ford and finished in a heap against the fence at turn two. With a buckled front wheel, damage to his front forks and handlebars he was done for the day, the latest victim of an expensive weekend for the riders. In the restart Orosz was well clear in front by the time Hesmer worked his way up to second place only to slide off at turn two leaving only Dixon and Ford as the only other finishers.
