A great day at Paris Speedway was had by all, during our clean-up session on Sunday. For the volunteers, a fantastic BBQ lunch courtesy of the 2 lovely ladies of Canadian Speedway. Corrine Franic and Emily Hensby was enjoyed by all!
We performed some great clean-up at the facility and the photo gallery below shows some of the hard work we performed.
Many thanks to everyone involved for a superb job in the clean-up and for all the positive reactions to the process.
The track has been completely dug up and replaced with lots of compacted blue clay and stone dust. The track was privy to a huge 24 hours of heavy rain and to the delight of all involved, the track was perfect!!!
A fantastic report to offer for all riders, is that Paris Speedway's investment into providing a superb safe and fast track, has been provided as promised by the Paris Agricultural Society. Thank you to them for this great support of our beloved sport!
Next Sunday from 12:00pm to 4:00pm is the chance to get on this new track and 'give it ago'
Practice will take place for all riders including the junior speedway class. admission is $20.00 for all participants. For the fans, you can see for free! Come and see the riders blow out the cobwebs and get a peek at the new 2008 riders!!

MIKE TAMS UPDATE
Mike has been transferred to - Room 475, Highbourne Lifecare Centre, 420 The East Mall, Etobicoke On. Canada. M9B 3Z9 if anyone wants to drop him a line.
He does not have a phone and the last contact with him, he said he was too sick to talk to anyone.
We wish him all the very best for a safe and comfortable stay at Highbourne.
