Latest News:

Welland County Motorcycle Club have just released their new-look website. The new board at Welland are actively working hard to increase the overall standards of the clubs functions, and the website was one of the top priorities. The site has plenty of speedway coverage including photo galleries and videos from Welland. Results will be posted under the speedway class weekly.

A new item for them is a race-day weather alert, where riders can plan ahead knowing either way, if the meeting will be running by 12:00pm. A good tool for all our distant based riders!

We do have a direct link with Bones Productions working this new site!

Kyle Legault is set for surgery to pin the broken femur he suffered during the Premier Trophy win over Rye House.

He won't be able to put any weight on his right leg for between six to eight weeks and is likely to remain in hospital for a week at least.

He crashed in Heat 6 of the Rye House meeting when he clipped the Perry Barr fence and lost control in horrifying scenes. He hit his team mate James Birkinshaw and they both crashed hard. Kyle was left in agony with a broken femur and James was hit with broken ribs and a shoulder injury. It appears that Kyle's bike took a huge amount of grip and the thing took off, hitting James.

Brummies boss Graham Drury said: "We feel terribly sorry for the lad and our first thoughts have to be with him.

"It's also a massive blow for the team, just when we all had this belief that things were coming together nicely."

We wish Kyle all the very best for a speedy recovery!
