Under 21 - Championship Qualifier - Poole, Dorset, England.

On Sunday May 25th 2003, Kyle Legault proudly rode for his country in the FIM World Junior Individual Championships in the qualifying round, held at the home of the current world champion Tony Rickardsson. Poole Speedway on the south coast of England.

With very stiff and hard competition, Kyle rode his heart out and did our country proud to compete against such fierce competition and provide some great racing. His nerves had to be quickly settled as he was in the  yellow helmet for the first race of the day. He finished in last place but was very controlled and aggressive.
His next race was heat 8 where he finished in 3rd place. Next was Heat 12 where Kyle once again battled and won 3rd place. This left him toward the main strong pack of the day and he sadly finished 3rd again in his last heat 20.

He unfortunately did not make it to the next round, but he showed true grit and pure determination. We as an organization are very proud of Kyle and I am sure that the speedway world will one day have the names of these junior riders including Kyle on the tips of their tongues. Please join us in congratulating Kyle Legault for a great job and well done!
